I loved Gina`s colour scheme so mine is quite similar, but I don't have the same stamps so I used what I had. I'm really pleased with the result. I followed her process almost exactly, except I couldn't resist adding some Sakura glitter pen to the center of the flowers.
Since I hadn't added any layers to the front of the card, I didn't want to add layers to the center of the card like I usually do, so instead I stamped with a birthday sentiment, and some smaller flowers from the same set the big flowers came from.
I love how this card turned out. Considering all of the stamping, inking, and colouring it was a pretty quick card to put together so I think I will try this again soon with some different colour schemes and shades of card stock.
Here is the video that inspired this card:

An absolutely wonderful creation full of beautiful attention to detail. Thankyou for joining us on Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog this week..... would you consider turning word verification off please in the future
ReplyDeleteI hope you can join us again this week. There is candy up for grabs on my blog ... x
Thanks so much for the nice comments Marcea, and I'm so sorry about the word verification. I thought I had turned it off and of course when I look at my blog I don't see that its there, so thank you for letting me know. Once I realized word verification was on, I couldn't figure out how to turn it off (I had it set that 'anyone' could comment and I thought that that would be enough) so I googled it and apparently I'm not the only one who didn't know that they had word verification on. Very frustrating!
DeleteThanks again! :)
