Use it Tuesday #41 Fall

This time at Use it Tuesday we are asking you to use your hoarded supplies on a Fall themed project!  Here in Canada yesterday was Thanksgiving so this is the card I came up with:

Most of the papers used on this card are from Tim Holtz, so I felt as though it would be proper to get inky for this one. I bought his Seasonal Paper Stash last year with the intent to use it on Thanksgiving cards (with extra for other holidays), but then I never got around to making them.  Oh well, last year's loss is this year's gain I guess!  :)

I started with three 6x6 Thanksgiving themed patterns from his Seasonal Stash.  I cut down two sheets for the card front and embossed the pattern made out of recipes with my Cuttlebug and Tim Holtz's Pumpkin Patch folder.

I chose coordinating card stock, inked the edges with brown, then inked the embossed pumpkins with orange and brown.  I chose some embellishments and adhered everything together, adding foam tape between some of the layers.

I took care of the sentiment last, trimming it from one of the patterns made up of just words.  I inked the edges and foam taped it to the card front, then added some glitter pen to the letters and the embossed image.

The center of the card was decorated with an inked piece of kraft matted with brown.  I really like the tone on tone effect.

Now its your turn to go use it!  Dig in your stash and create your fall themed project.  Link it up to to the inlinkz at Use it Tuesday by Friday October 19th, and make sure to tell us in your post what you used that was hoarded! One lucky crafter who joins in will be randomly chosen as featured guest designer in an upcoming challenge!!

And don't forget - the DT has outdone themselves this time so make sure to visit their blogs and tell them how great they are!  :)
