This card uses two of this month's sets, Christmas Selections and Poinsettia Blooms. I started with the patterned paper and cardstock. I cut everything to the size I wanted, inked the edges, and assembled the smaller panel. I heat embossed the image and sentiment, then corner rounded the corners.
Once the larger panel was assembled I added some ribbon, adhered it to the chocolate brown card base, then foam taped the smaller panel over the ribbon. I added some punched snowflakes that had been sprayed and inked with silver, and some gemstones.
For the center of the card I inked and corner rounded a piece of white, and heat embossed the a smaller version of the same image, along with another sentiment. The panel was matted with kraft and then matted with another pattern. The whole thing was adhered to the inside of the card.
I love these two sets, Christmas Selections has ton of great images, and Poinsettia Blooms has some really great sentiments in addition to even more great images. I can see these will be really when I finally get around to getting my holiday cards made! :)
