Mark's Finest Papers Sneak Peak - Extra Stamp Sets

Hello Everyone! I can't believe that this month has gone by so quickly!  I had a ton of fun taking the CAS card class earlier this month, and you will see that it has influenced most of what I've come up with this month. It helps that so many of the sets are perfect for a CAS style.  The extra sets this month are no exception, they are really lovely (no pun intended, lol)!

First I'll show you the extra set called "Love Script":

Isn't it pretty?  I gravitate toward any patterned paper with script or text on it, so this script stamp will be very versatile in creating my own backgrounds.  For this reason I am showing this card first:

I decided to make a square card and heat embossed the card front with the script stamp.  I added a small square of kraft with dashed lines, some hearts, and a banner with a heat embossed sentiment.  Glitter and Glossy Accents are the perfect accent.

My second card with this set happens to be the one I gave to my husband on Valentine's Day:

The red on white gives a nice clean feel, and the sequins combined with more glitter and glossy accents  give some sparkle without going over the top.

The second set is the mini you can get for free if you purchase the four main sets.   You could use this set for a lot of occasions because who doesn't love cupcakes?  It's called "Big Cupcake":

This card isn't that simple.  I let myself have fun with papers and embellishing:

I chose a cream base to keep the card from feeling too heavy, and water coloured the image to coordinate with the layered papers.  Some ribbon and Viva Pearl Pen finished off the front.

I used the same papers on the inside that were used on the front and added the sentiment.

Aren't these sets fun?  Don't forget to check back tomorrow for day one of the hop.  You won't be disappointed! :)
