Hi Everyone!  You'll notice this month we are mixing up the structure of the blog hop again.  Instead of spreading the hop over two weeks you'll get six days in a row!  For the first three days one half of the design team (including me)  will be participating in the hop, and the other half of the team will have their projects displayed on the main blog.  For the last three days of the hop the reverse will happen.  That way you get the benefit of all of the crafty inspiration the design team provides, without having to hop and comment on so many blogs.  This just makes it easier for you to win one of this month's lovely sets!

Today's set is called "Foo Dogs"

Here is what I came up with:

With the majority of the cards I've made this month I started with a fun textured background.  After watching all of the CHA videos a few weeks ago I noticed a lot of vendors are offering things like embossing paste and moulding paste. Many of the demonstration videos showed spreading the embossing paste over masks and stencils.  I already have a few of those to use with mists, and I thought it would be fun to try one of these pastes.  I couldn't find any of the brands from the videos at my local craft store as it was too early for them to be in stores, but I did find some Martha Stewart Texture Paste.  I had a ton of fun playing with it!

I love today's stamp set, these lions are so regal!  I couldn't resist using the filled in image with gold embossing, and I decided to also use the set called "Lots of Words" for the inside sentiment.  I kept the line drawing image simple with white embossing on kraft and a gemstone eye.

I hope you liked my cards today!  There is lots more inspiration to be had with the rest of the design team and also on the main blog.  If you've been hopping along Sue is next on the list, if not you can start at the beginning:

Come on back tomorrow for more creativity.
