You can go back and comment if you missed a day. (HINT: The more you comment, the more chances you have to win and comments on the MFP blog count twice!) The deadline for commenting is 10 PM EST on Friday Feb. 14, 2014
Hi Everyone! You'll notice this month we are mixing up the structure of the blog hop again. Instead of spreading the hop over two weeks you'll get six days in a row! For the first three days one half of the design team (including me) will be participating in the hop, and the other half of the team will have their projects displayed on the main blog. For the last three days of the hop the reverse will happen. That way you get the benefit of all of the crafty inspiration the design team provides, without having to hop and comment on so many blogs. This just makes it easier for you to win one of this month's lovely sets!
Today's set is called "Birds of the Orient":
More textured backgrounds today. For the first card I decided to keep everything light feeling with white on white and just a touch of grey. For the second card I wanted to add a pop of colour. I started withe the patterned paper and found some ribbon to match. I also added some pearls from a Viva Decor Pearl Pen. I must have bumped the card before they were dry because one of the pearls flattened, but it was still a circle and I thought it kind of tied into the background so I left it. :)

I hope you liked my cards today! There is lots more inspiration to be had with the rest of the design team and also on the main blog. If you've been hopping along Sue is next on the list, if not you can start at the beginning:
