(You do NOT have to comment on all the blogs each day! The names are drawn randomly!) All six winners will be announced on Feb. 15, 2014 on the Mark's Finest Papers blog. You can go back and comment if you missed a day. (HINT: The more you comment, the more chances you have to win and comments on the MFP blog count twice!) The deadline for commenting is 10 PM EST on Friday Feb. 14, 2014
Hi Everyone! You'll notice this month we are mixing up the structure of the blog hop again. Instead of spreading the hop over two weeks you'll get six days in a row! For the first three days one half of the design team (including me) will be participating in the hop, and the other half of the team will have their projects displayed on the main blog. For the last three days of the hop the reverse will happen. That way you get the benefit of all of the crafty inspiration the design team provides, without having to hop and comment on so many blogs. This just makes it easier for you to win one of this month's lovely sets!
Today's set is called "Medallion":
I love this one, so pretty and can be used for so many things. I decided to look at the big stamp like a doily and heat embossed the image in white on vellum for both cards that I made:

I love this one, so pretty and can be used for so many things. I decided to look at the big stamp like a doily and heat embossed the image in white on vellum for both cards that I made:
For the first card I kept things soft and pretty with a simple colour pallet, and for the second I had fun playing with the black and white chevrons I created with the texture paste by adding some fun patterned paper and bright blue ribbon.
I hope you liked my cards today! Feel free to see the rest of the cards that my half of the design team made back at the main blog, or if you haven't hopped along yet start with Lois below!
Come on back tomorrow for more creativity.
Wow these are gorgeous. I love the vellum on both cards.
ReplyDeleteThis texturizing never gets old. I love both of these cards. Fresh and beautiful.
ReplyDeletePretty cards - particularly like the one with the velum sentiment.
