Pause Dream Enjoy #35 You're So Tweet

Its time for another challenge at Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges, and this time the theme is to use chicks or birdies on your project.  You're so tweet after all!  Here is what I came up with:

I started with the My Mind's Eye paper and and decided to also use the stamp set that was designed to go with the same collection.  Once this decision was made I choose the coordinating papers and trimmed everything to size.  I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and image in gold.

I coloured the image with coordinating Stampin' Up markers and inked all of the pieces with various shades of brown.  I added ribbon and twine, adhered all of the pieces together, and added pearls.  This is not a colour scheme that I am often drawn to but I am satisfied with the result. :)

Card Stock:  Stampin' Up!  Bermuda Bay, Crumb Cake, Whisper White.  My Minds Eye Fine & Dandy Boy.

Stamps: My Minds Eye Fine & Dandy True Blue

Ink:  Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink Creamy Brown, Chestnut Roan.  Versamark Watermark Ink.

Embossing Powder:  Stampin' Up! Gold.

Markers:  Stampin' Up!  Stampin' Write  Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay.

Embellishments:  May Arts natural Jute Twine, American Crafts Premium Satin Ribbon, button from stash, Stampin' Up!  Basic Jewels Pearls.

Adhesive: Scotch ATG, Foam Squares, Zots

Tools: Paper trimmer, bone folder, scissors, heat tool.
