Pretty Pansies

Yesterday I mentioned that I had made several cards while anxiously awaiting the new September Marks Finest Papers stamps to get here.  Here is the second:

Yet another day to play with sprays, and boy am I glad I did!  I am so in love with this card!  Along with my set of sprays I also got a Mr. Huey mask. Trendy hexagon, and I love it as a backdrop for the flowers.  I sprayed the yellow first, then dropped the mask on, sprayed some pink, and ever so gently flipped the mask over so that the mist that collected on the top of the mask would be stamped on my card (If you look close you can see this at the top right side of the card).  I've seen other people do this quite a bit in various videos, I've never tried it before now but I looooove it!  Very fun!

Once I had the background I decided to keep things pretty simple.  I inked the edges of the panel and stamped the pansies and sentiment in black, I added some glitter pen to the sentiment and gems to the flowers.  Some washi tape, ribbon, and a little charm finished off the card.  The panel was foam taped to the card base.  This is something I find I'm doing more often lately and I find that popping up the main panel adds so much to the card.

Another quick and simple one but so bright and fun!  You can find these stamps at the Marks Finest Papers store.  They have a great selection of stamps to choose from!
