Today's set, called "Joyus Season" is really lovely:
While lovely, at first I wasn't sure what to do with this set. When that happens sometimes the best thing to do is just to jump in and hope for the best! Its fun to do that every now and then anyway. :) I ended up making one more involved card and one quick card.
With the first card I played with a few techniques includng watercolouring and fussy cutting. Even so, I decided to keep things tonal with a pop of red. Something about kraft and dark red on a Christmas card that is so pretty! With the second card I went with more colour and pattern. It turned out to be a quick card, so it would be great for reproducing, but it is still really pretty. I love how both of these turned out!
I hope you enjoyed my cards, but the fun is not over! You can visit Mark's Finest Papers store to purchase these sets along with lots of other wonderful sets. Or, if you need some inspiration the DT list is below! This is a blog hop after all and talented Toni is next on the list! Or if you've started here click below to go back to the beginning.
