This is my second post today and I thought I would share the card I made for Fussy and Fancy Friday.  I won the opportunity to be a guest designer during their "Trip Around the World" challenge with this card.  At Fussy and Fancy Friday the guest designer gets their very own post and you can find that here.  Isn't that exciting?!  Today's challenge is anything goes, an always fun choice!  Here is what I came up with:

I started with a 6x6 patterened paper pack from My Mind's Eye called Indie Chic Saffron.  I love the colours in this pack!  I chose the patterns I wanted to use, then some coordinating card stock. I had been saving the elephant stamp for a special occasion, and I'd say this qualifies. I love elephants and this stamp is so cute.  I stamped it with chalk ink on kraft, then die cut the craft with my circle Nestabilities.  A patterned piece of pattern was die cut to mat the image and some glitter pen was added to highlight.

Once I had my image and the papers I wanted to use I cut everything down to the size I needed, inked the edges, then built the main panel with several pieces of pattern and some kraft.  I added some washi tape from the same MME collection, then wrapped the panel several times with jute twine.  A bow finished this step.

Once the main panel was adhered to the card base I foam taped the elephant in the corner.  I banner cut several of the scraps, then added them in a random manner to the card.  Some of the strips were slipped under the twine, some are foam taped over the twine.

I decided to use some letter stickers instead of a stamp, then added some glitter pen to the letters, as well as a few dots to the background pattern. I added some handmade flowers as a final touch.

For the center of the card I inked some kraft and matted it with a chevron pattern.  I stamped another elephant stamp from the same set, then added some glitter pen to their cargo.

This card was really fun to make as there were no limitations!  I also love the stamps, the colours and the patterned papers.  Such a fun challenge to take part in!  If you would like to join in too you can find the challenge post here. :)

I used the following products to make my card:
