Hi All!  Welcome to Craft Your Passion Challenges "All Star" Sports Blog Hop!!

What’s more exciting is you can participate too by creating a project and linking it up over at Craft Your Passion Challenges for a chance to win even more prizes.   Once you have finished the hop and left a comment for everyone, we would like you to create a project with out theme and link it with the linky tool back at the main blog.

Our theme is Sports with a twist, and the twist is stars!  Here is what I came up with:

The bear image is from one of our sponsors Robyn's Fetish.  Carl is so cute and ready to play!  I started with the image and coloured him as best I could with alcohol markers, then masked the image and sprayed with various mists.  I chose papers to go along with the image and cut everything down to size.

As for the stars, I stamped the background and then I had a star punch that I hadn't used in ages and went to town.  Once I had my pile of stars I wasn't quite sure how I would incorporate them into the card so I just played with them until I found a layout that worked.  The glitter stars and the red baker's twine were the final touches.

For the centre I stamped a coordinating sentiment and more stars on an inked piece of gray.

Card Stock:  Stampin' Up!  Crumb Cake, Going Gray, Real Red.  Gina K Designs Pure Luxury  Pure White, Little Boy Blue, random darker blue from stash - I think its probably Recollections brand.

Stamps:  Digi - Robyn's Fetish Carl Cutie Bear  Clear - Fancy Pants Little Star.

Ink:  Stampin' Up!  Brilliant Blue.  Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink Creamy Brown.

Mists:  Tattered Angels Moonlight, Shimmerz Paints Carribean Sunset, Saphire.

Markers:  Copic W5, W3, 0, R20.  Bic Mark Its Rambunctious Red, Woodsy Brown, Honey Brown, Blue Skies Blue, Midnight Navy, Deep Sea Blue, Tiki Hut Tan, Tuxedo Black, Pink Flamingo, Cloud Nine Grey.

Embellishments:  Glitter stars from stash.

Twine:  We R Memory Keepers Candy Stripe bakers twine.

Adhesive:  Scotch ATG, Foam Squares, Dotto re-positionable adhesive

Tools:  Paper trimmer, bone folder, scissors, Creative Memories star punch, We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper, Ranger blending tool, sponge.
